The Haviland Club Newsletter, February 24, 2015

Okay, so we made an astonishing, rare mistake in last week’s Newsletter. We mentioned that volunteers for $5 Fridays buy the groceries, but forgot to mention you get reimbursed. Best practice is to bring the receipts and Cathy will pay you back at the bar that same evening. So let’s try that again:

VOLUNTEER REQUEST

LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR FUTURE $5 FRIDAYS. You buy the groceries (Club reimburses receipts, preferably that same night) You cook and serve, usually  something not too expensive (it’s $5, right?) and friends pitch in to help. It is a great way to engage with your club. PLEASE PITCH IN, PICK A NIGHT, AND ADD YOUR NAME TO THE SIGN UP SHEET IN THE TAPROOM.

TONIGHT! Tuesday: City Cinema After Movie Discussion Group

New member Rene Laprise is leading this new monthly event. This month Daniel Lynds is going to be the facilitator. Watch the movie at City Cinema, then meet at the Club.
