The Haviland Club is located at the corner of Water and Haviland street, in the historic heart of Charlottetown. This elegant 1869 building, with its beautifully appointed rooms, is the perfect place for parties or larger events to suit your needs.
On the main floor, the Great Room seats up to 80 people and is ideal for wedding receptions, anniversary and birthday celebrations, musical evenings as well as business meetings and presentations.
Across the hall is the Lounge with its original period decor, it can accomodate 30 people. Adjacent to it is the Club Bar, where drinks are served in a beautifully paneled room. The main floor is wheelchair accessible.
Upstairs are four rooms ideal for meetings and private gatherings, including our renovated Club Library for up to 10 people. The other rooms all have comfortable seating for meetings in a salon setting.
Over the years, the Haviland Club has been the site of many noteworthy occasions in the life of Charlottetown, from Wedding receptions, Christmas parties, birthdays, retirement parties; anniversary celebrations, meet and greets, book and CD launches, lectures and presentations, including events from the World famous Fringe Festival for the last 10 years.
The Haviland Club is always freshening up, including a new deck, flower beds in our garden, renovation to our Club Library, repainting of the rocaille ceiling mouldings in the Lounge, front hall and Club Bar. All part of the upkeep of this remarkable period architectural Mansion.
